As an art student I was fortunate enough to be selected for the 1998 and 1999 Sculpture by the Sea exhibitions. I have not exhibited there since. However these opportunities allowed me to explore sculpture on a new scale.

Sculpture by the Sea affords an unmatched opportunity for artists to respond to an environment that is demanding both of their work and their intellect.

In 1999 I constructed a site specific work on Tamara beach. Exhibiting on the beach allowed me to engage with childhood memories of marching soldier crabs and curious detritus left by the receding tide.
